Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin RA often said: “Now Mamlooke-ale-Mohammad parts from  you. I will not be in your sights, but will remain etched in your hearts…Don’t forget me, keep remembering me, I will remember you. If you need anything, just call out my name and my dua will come in your aid, I bestow my salaam upon you. Asalamo-alaikum.”

Today we journey towards His RA’s sacred mausoleum, seeking this precious dua to guide us on the pathway of attaining Ilm of Aale Mohammad. Our long week of replenishing our souls with droplets from the vast ocean of this Ilm, is given the perfect ending by our visit to Raudat Tahera.

The moment we enter the Qubba Mubaraka, our hearts fill with gratitude and our eyes blur with tears of reminiscence of all the blessings showered upon us by our Moula through every step of our lives.

Standing within the walls of this sacred mausoleum – engulfed by the golden inscriptions of the Quran Majeed, with the intricate crystal chandelier hanging above us, and the radiant essence of fatemi teachings, traditions and architecture – sets the perfect ambiance for our Saturday hifz classes.

The echoing reverberations of the Quranic verses entices our minds, as well as those of all the zaireen.

As the hum of Al-Quran slowly weaves itself into the melody of Qasida and Marsiya, it solemnly fills our hearts with the remembrance of Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin RA. A wave of serenity washes over us as we lay our heads on the Turbat Mubarak of our two Beloved Dais, our mentors, our haqiqi fathers, Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA and Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin RA. We pour our hearts, as all our worldly worries are lifted off our shoulders, leaving us enlightened. We are blessed with the honour of witnessing the changing of ghilaf and draping of rose blankets on the Qabar Mubarak.

Memories of those years where we sat in the sayaa of our Beloved Moula RA, responding to the naraah “Aaah!” with our cries of “Ya Hussain!” are re-lived as we now stand in His RA presence with tears trickling down our cheeks and cries of “Ya Hussain!” echoing within these walls.

Upholding the traditions of Awliya Kiraam, we conduct classes in the sehen of Raudat Tahera under the nazaraat of both Moulas RA. Each of us eagerly soak in the knowledge imparted to us by our teachers, with the raza mubarak of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS.

As we end our classes and head back towards Al-Jamea-Tus-Saifiyah, we take one last look at Raudat Tahera and the image of Moula’s heavenly visage flashes across our minds, making us bow our heads in shukur for this esteemed naimat bestowed upon us. We do dua from the bottom of our hearts – may Allah TA grant Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS a long and healthy life till the day of qayamat. Ameen!
