Look Again

This project, shot with iPhone almost exclusively, is titled ‘Look Again’. The photos are edited in such a way to bring out a contrast between natural and man-made structures, or to bring out aspects of the subjects in a different light and perspective. In a few of the pieces, architectural structures and buildings are made to seem like a mirage or technological/sci-fi pixels, giving viewers the illusion and perhaps doubt if the structure really is there or not. At first glance many people don’t even notice the editing, or brush it off as the usual cityscape photography of architecture and whatnot, but thats where the project gets it’s title, Look Again.

Instead of creating the project as a portfolio, I decided to use Instagram as the platform to showcase my work as I felt it’s the medium that gives followers and audiences the feel of having an ongoing, regularly updating art show or gallery at their fingertips, a convenience of living in 2017.
